COSMIC SOUP arrived on New Year's Day 2026 and it commits to its premise harder than anything else in the catalog. Ten tracks, roughly forty-five minutes total, every single title built out of the same joke: cooking terminology applied to cosmology, played completely straight.

The sound of shadows lengthening across empty landscapes. Spectral harmonics drift like cosmic dust. Mechanical repetition achieving trance-like states.

The Titles Are the Concept

"How Starlight Dissolves Into Broth (A Molecular Goodbye)." "The Ladle That Stirred Before Time Began." "Umami Particles Colliding at 99.9% The Speed of Light." "Clarified Through the Event Horizon(s)." The record closes on "Vegetables in Slow-Motion," which is either the punchline or the thesis depending on your mood.

Underneath the titling, the music is more compact than the surrounding musical nature releases - nothing here runs past 5:09, and ":::Floating in the Membrane Between Dimensions:::" is over in 3:13. Compared to Silent Machines, where individual pieces routinely pass the fifty-minute mark, COSMIC SOUP moves quickly.

Where It Fits

This is the release that separates this is new from the Silent Machines run, and it is the most approachable of the three. It is also the one that has picked up the widest streaming distribution - it is on Spotify as a full ten-track album.
