Not every release under this roof is an hour of drone. And a Tiny Tote Bag for My Plushie landed on Christmas Day 2025 as the first music from Skoshie & Friends - a children's persona built around Skoshie the cat, Zeek the octopus, and Wisp the dragon.

A Different Kind of Release

The single came out alongside the Skoshie & Friends 12-Day Advent Calendar, which is the context that explains it. This is children's music and holiday pop - no field recordings, no sustained tones, no eight-minute runtime. It is a song about a plushie getting its own tote bag, and it is exactly as earnest as that sounds.

Filing it in the same catalog as Garage of Evil dark ambient is admittedly a wide spread. But the through-line across every Primary Field Recording Device persona has always been that the project makes whatever it wants to make and puts a name on it afterward.

Where It Fits
